The 'W' trek is the name given to the W shaped beaten track that interlinks the 3 Granite Paine Towers, the French Valley, and the Grey Glacier.  The trek is approximately 70 kilometers (43 miles) in total distance and is one of the most scenic treks in the world.

The Classic W Trek program is our most popular  multi-day adventure program.  You can prepare and do the W trek on your own, however doing it with us  will save you time, and your Patagonia visit will  be well organized and efficient.  

Our reservation's team will be initially assisting you in understanding your program and will guide you in your plans.   We will then be advising you in your logistical and physical preparations.  And when you finally arrive here, in Puerto Natales,  our Garden Domes hotel team will host you and provide trek briefings.  The next day, our  Chiletour team of guides and drivers will be assisting you on your first day as you get to know Torres del Paine for the first time,  and  after your Base of the Tower hike, you will be staying at a refuge or mountain shelter dormitory, near the welcome center, right at the bottom portion of the Paine Massif where you will have one most beautiful views of the Paine Towers.

• Two (2) nights stay in Puerto Natales at Garden Domes Cabins (Option to upgrade to a private Dome if available)
• 5 days trekking and 4 nights in a dormitory bed: 
•     One  (1) night Private Cabins near the trailhead of the Base of the Towers (2 rooms in each cabin, 2 to 3 beds per room,  location has view of the towers); 
•       One (1) night at Campamento Frances, roof-top or car-top tent style, good for 2 persons. A 4-season tent with 300G Canvas fabric resistant to wind, UV rays and 3,000mm waterproofing. Mattress composed of 50mm high density and anti-condensation mesh for better insulation. Thick outer cover with tight-fitting design, waterproof and airtight to protect the tent.  Elevated (5 ft) wooden platforms with 4 inches square bar pillars and and an aluminum ladder.
•      One (1) night at Refugio Paine Grande, dormitory beds ;  
•     One (1) night at Refugio Grey,  dormitory beds
• Trek briefing with welcome dinner on arrival day
• Pizza night, on your last night, coming out of the W trek 
• Breakfast (American), boxed lunch, and dinner (3 courses) each day during the 5 days of trekking
• ChileTour private van transfer into the park 
• Ferry ticket and regular bus transfer to exit the park
• Guide for the first day of trekking (Trek to the base of the towers) then it's self-guided

Options of arrival:

- If you arrive from Puerto Natales airport you must take a taxi to our place (Garden Domes & Cabins) and we will pay for it. 

- If you arrive from Punta Arenas airport or city, we will book a bus (3hs) to Puerto Natales and then you must take a taxi to Garden Domes & Cabins and we will pay for it. 

- If you arrive from El Calafate you must take the morning bus arriving around 1/2pm (Bus ticket NOT included) then take a taxi to Garden Domes & Cabins and we will pay for it. 

Private transfer to Torres del Paine National Park. 

Trek to Base Torres (22km, 7-8 hours trekking) with our tour guide and group. 

After the hike, you will be staying at private cabins with view of the towers (2 to 3 beds per room, 2 rooms per cabin with private bathroom & shower).  Free private transfer will be provided from the trailhead to the cabins.  10 minutes drive only.

This day you will trek alongside Lake Nordenskjold to Los Cuernos and continue until Frances Area (14.6km, 6.5 hours). You'll stay at Camping premium at Frances (tent, sleeping bag and mat included).

Trek to the French Valley optional to continue up to Británico Lookout then continue to Paine Grande (20.3 km, 9 hours). This night you will be sleeping at Refugio Paine Grande.
